Rock Ness Mess part 8
In my first draft the punchline was a very weird turn. I had the genie responsible for the talking door. She had been watching Roger with her clairvoyant crystal ball and was making wishes come terribly true from a distance. That was too convoluted, doncha think?

Having a literal genie is bad enough — but having your casually uttered wishes coming true in horrible ways, especially when you’ve been given no warning that such might occur, is to me a true definition of hell. It’s way too dark an idea, I think, so you did the right thing leaving it out. (Sorry if I sound overly serious, but the concept was truly creepy to me, like with what happened in that god-awful Wishmaster movie.)

Eris – I’m glad I could grant your mind’s wish. 😛

Cancerberus, the jaws that bite, the claws that slice with a horrendous pinch. What’s not to love?

I liked this.
I’m also a fan of the genie, but I agree including her would have made things too convoluted here.
Only thing missing from this — “The Cavern” (Tavern) should’ve had some beetles up on that stage. 😉

Golux – It’s breath!
MDF – Groan! It’s an underground city of rock so I figured it’d be the Unrolling Stones.

The Unrolling Stones — since they don’t roll, they’re mossome! 😀
(I’m stopping now.)
