Chow Chat
Considering how funny food can be (see most of Weird Al’s hits for proof) I’m amazed that the chef character isn’t a regular. My friend and I had a script planned for an 80’s style comedy called Chef School that was packed with food and 80’s based humour. But writing a whole movie script was a daunting task so it’s never seen the light of day. Since then, I’ve seen there is a reality TV show called Chef School. It’s not anywhere near as funny or feature nearly as much Dolph Lundrgen as what we’d planned.
This is the first time I’ve drawn this side of the throne room. It’s much narrower than I originally pictured it. Maybe they’ll do some remodelling.

The queen just came back from the dentist?
Also: I wonders how many people read this wee gem of a comic… very few people actually comment.

This is what happens when you make vague demands for food, kids! Lesson learned.
At least the guard didn’t think she said FUNgeon. And it’s a good thing the queen is apparently already considering a diet, since her order has gone so awry. Hm, she’d probably send ME to the luncheon if she heard me say “It’s a good thing she’s already considering a diet”, wouldn’t she?

Probably a lot of people read it, just don’t know what to comment in. Like me. (:

Hef – did the queen come back from the dentist or does the chef have to dig the potatoes out of his ears (as my mom uesd to say)?
Weirdly, I have this comic running on 3 sites. Where it started on Comic’s Sherpa, on my own site with no links (so it’s all ages friendly and I can promote when I do school visits and signings) and here. So, some people see it and don’t have the opportunity to comment apart from email.
But feel free to digg this, tell your friends, make a wikipedia entry or whatever else you might be inspired to do to share the comic with others. 🙂
Jai – You’d be lucky if she didn’t send you to the bludgeon! 🙂
Beat – Thanks for the comment all the same! Now that you’ve broken the wall, feel free to comment on something again, good or bad!

I didn’t comment for a long time because I was having trouble figuring out the comment system.
