Why do all of them live for the sole purpose of making terrible coat of arms? And why has noone done a literal coat of arms yet?

What about one that turns into a monster occasionally? Dr. Jackal and Mr. Hyde. Or, if its an easily intimidated monster, Mr. Hide.
