Monster Manual Monday – E Ettin

Basically an Ettin is a two-headed giant. Why shouldn’t it use a two-headed morningstar? My wife thinks the TT looks too much like the pi sign, but I’m not as bothered by it. It has a bit of a Stonehenge look to me.

The TT reminds me of that scene in “This is Spinal Tap”–the fake rockumentary of a fake band–where they wanted some awesome Stone henge type displays on stage. But when they were sketched out, they wrote the dimensions as inches rather than feet, and so when the rocky pillars descended it was more like Stonehenge for midgets.
