Monster Manual Monday – A Aboleth

I’ve decided to start drawing some of my favorite Dungeons and Dragons monsters to post in the blog. This week it’s an Aboleth, a deep sea fish that has psychic powers to dominate your mind, like a reverse Aquaman.

Oooh, I love drawings of monsters! The details and texture are great, and I like how dynamic the pose is. The green isn’t quite the shade I’d expect from a deep sea horrorterror, though.

I’ve been playing around with an RGB colour palette, trying to make some brilliant, even sickly hues for the monsters.
