When I was a kid and I misheard something my mom had a phrase “dig the potatoes out of your ears” that she had picked up from her father. Now I like mishearing things because it leads to joke ideas.

Sedentary… I could have gone for sedimentary or seminary… grave yard could have been breave heart… I just realized I’m using my rhyming ear for comedy instead of poetry. That seems like a win/win to me. My poetry isn’t as bad as Vogons‘ luckily, though.
